"Keep it simple. Oh, my goodness, why have we allowed things to get so complicated? Engage your constituents, implement what you can, and the stuff you can’t- be honest as to why."

Politically Connected
Devin has volunteered on boards at all levels of government. Provincially, serving on the executive of the Calgary Shaw Board as the VP of Fundraising, Devin worked very closely with the then Minister of Tourism and longtime PC MLA, Cindy Ady. Being with this board was one of his greatest learnings as it was filled with some amazing people.
Federally, Devin served as a member at large on the Calgary Midnapore board, assisting MP Stephanie Kusie in various capacities in the 7 years serving on this board. Recently stepping down to concentrate on his efforts in the upcoming civic election.
Having strong personal relationships with current MLA for Calgary Fish Creek, Minister Myles McDougal and Calgary Shaw MLA, who both share boundaries within Ward 14, allows Devin to collaborate openly and efficiently in mutual issues for our constituents.

St. Mary's University
Current member on the Board of Directors, serving as Chair of the Community Advisory Committee, Devin is responsible for collaborating with local business leaders in identifying new ways to expose the many opportunities this university and its students have to offer. Using his extensive network both politically and with-in the business community to tell the story that is St. Mary’s University. Having this role allows Devin to collaborate with all high schools in Ward 14, making sure that they know the amazing opportunity this university offers right here in Ward 14.
